Joe Budden was TERRIBLE. fukk what he was saying. The way he delivered every line was cringeworthy. This is like watching a white guy do a karaoke version of a rap song. It was awkward, painfully slow, and robotic. He had the exact opposite problem Canibus had. It sounded like he prepared and brought his best version of battle bars, but he needed to work on his performance.

bullshyt...ill give you the 3rd round sounded like a song...ill give you that. Anybody that knows me know that im a HUGE hollow da don fan. Those first 2 rounds joey had punches that were WAY more clever than hollows....i truely feel like his lines were on a different tier than hollows. Hollow had maybe 3 lines that made me get geeked lol. Hollow lost those first 2...definately. Buddens had the crowd too until that 3rd round.
I heard hollow was in the back already complaining about the battle insinuating they were gonna give it to buddens before they announced the winner too....they took this away from joey because of that 3rd round...which to me is bullshyt. The crowd just started booing out of nowhere and not letting him do his thing. This shyt is supposed to be scored like a boxing match....yea he put the mic down but he still finished! If you wanna give the round to hollow for that its understandable but the whole match? He still FINISHED.
Oh well....i guess on the flip this is good for the battle rap side because they are gonna "pretend" like its a W for them and gives them more momemtum to have more matches on pay per view like this but now we will probably never see any rappers go against battle rappers anymore....they gonna look at this shyt and think they are gonna get robbed regardless and the risk aint worth it. Whatever you may feel about this battle...it was VERY competitive..the fact that joe could go straight to the top and battle a guy like hollow first try and be competitive says to me that these rappers are that much behind for battle rap like the url league nikkas think it is.
His performance was terrible. He delivered everything extra carefully like he was scared to choke. But if you want to ignore all that, there's no way a guy can win a battle when he quits.
All that boxing scoring is well and good, but this isn't boxing. Someone can have a CRAZY third round that erases everything before and wins them the battle (Math's 3rd vs Rex or Conceited's 3rd vs Cortez), so I think one amazing round CAN win you a battle. Lux vs. Calicoe is considered a body by many because of Lux's third.
So a wishy washy ass battle like this one can be given away by giving up and dropping the mic. It wasn't like Budden had the battle locked up, was cruising to victory and pulled a Charlie Clips. He was in a terrible battle that a lot of people had 1-1 and gave up.
And none of this was a good look for Hollow. Budden was terrible, even if it was close or some people had him winning. Hollow was way worse than he usually is. Budden quit. This is a Canibus situation all over again. The debacle will overshadow the bars and this will look like the weakest W on Hollow's resume. He dropped the ball because he should've clowned Budden and bodied him with the world watching. He was the top trending top on Twitter for a good hour last night, during a Canelo PPV. Thank god he's got the Clips battle coming up. We all need to forget this happened.
And Total Slaughter fukked this up all around. It didn't need to be judged. I don't know if that was Eminem's idea, but it was dumb. If they left it as is, Budden could've left feeling like he won and Hollow too. Lux's performance could've appreciated with time and Mook's would've suffered. It was dumb.

Joe budden had too many dry spots in his 2nd round, yall just hate hollow, he did what he was supposed to do

yes joe's performance was that terrible that he lost all 3 rounds to a less than stellar hollow

i'd still like to see another main stream rapper get in the ring though
but i doubt some industry cat is going to come in and just captivate the crowd in their first battle
no matter how many battles you watch there's only one way to get your performance game up to the level of these top tier battlers and that's by participating in battles
i'll give joe credit for even attempting to battle but you can tell after the first round he was just happy to be up there and not be getting boo'd out the building

If Joe would've went 1st it might have been slightly different. Hollow crushed him mentally by going 1st. I bet Joe was like damn my shyt can't top that performance lol

I think joey had the better bars. While hollow had the better performance. I think budden got the first 2. But that slow flow was lame as fukk. Hollow was all over the place. Didn't seem to focused. Both of them had a wack as 3rd round. Fukked up mics and all. This n1gga hollow
