I wonder if this was the case before the first patch to the game.

When I discovered Sinner's Road, I got maybe halfway through and realized I wasn't strong enough and left the area.Sinners road is some wild shyt

There’s so much shyt hidden in this gameDecided to explore even more before finishing off Act 2 and man…even with me doing my best searching as I was going I was missing tools.
Just found Eva and upgraded some crests 
And here I thought I could finish this within 30 hrs

Yeah, I’m like alright I think I’ve hit all the spots on the map that lead elsewhere…but I KNOW I’m missing mad craftmetal so I’ve got to be missing other things too. Same with memory lockets. Got way too many crests and not enough lockets to get them to their full potential

Go get wreathe of purity. It protects you from maggot infection. Found about that shyt after I beat sinners road

For people who have the architect crest and plasmium phil. You can use the crests tool crafting ability to give yourself 9 blue Regen masks. With the architect crest you can use silk to replenish all your tools without sitting at a bench. So if you use your 5 plasmium phials and then recraft more. You can do 4 more. And once you hit 9 it converts all of them to masks that keep regenerating. Just make sure you have enough shards cause the phials use up a lot. This hack was also in the OG game so it must be intentional.
I ended up using this shyt for the sinners road boss. I did all that fukkin platforming and then they gimmie that bullshyt ass fight
....it's damn near impossible to do that runback without getting infected. p*ssy ass boss. I don't respect that shyt. Only way to beat me is when I got aids. He didn't deserve the fair one

Today was the first time in years a game has made me rage and throw my controller
That lava challenge room, after the grapple rings in Far Fields, is ridiculous. Honestly isn’t not even that bad if you spam your tools but I was being stubborn. Now I have to go grind for more shards.
Just wait til you do mount fay and sands of karak
My cousin been playing this shyt heavy. He talked with me over the phone for like an hour explaining the lore to me

Found the parry ability and a flea. Also, didn’t notice everybody sang shyt when you played for them.
I actually completed the area, was stressful but i got it done without the wreath of purity
