Yea that changes everything. Tough enemies become so much easier. Dancing around them bytches like Bud Crawford. Newcomers definitely gotta understand the whole game changes once you have all the upgrades. That's when hollow knight really became legendary. You start the game in a weakened state and have to get your power back. Then the combat becomes fluid as hell.

When I first got there I swear I wasn't supposed to be there yet. But I died far in and I had to go back and just ended up making it out the other side somewhere.
The original crest you have is probably the worst for traversal through there though. I find it's way easier with Wanderer or Reaper crest.

I've never played the original and im having fun with this. From what I understand the lore does have some small ties to the original but not enough to alienate new players.

It's a gamer's game, I'd recommend it to anybody that posts in this forum. Be prepared tho, its gonna test u
