Holly Holm pulling punches? or sour grapes?

Any truth to the rumors that holm pulled her punches up until the rousey fight to get a title shot against rousey? these claims remind me a bit of what mike tyson accused george foreman of in his book. Tyson claimed that when foreman came out of retirement,he deliberately made himself out to be this sweet old man promoting his grills, old and slow etc etc ,to trick other boxers to get in the ring with him,when the reality was he wasn't as 'old and slow' as he claimed and he was a dirty fighter. Tyson claimed foreman in reality was in his words a 'fukking animal' and also a con man.

Then there are the other mutterings,that the holm camp at ringside were shouting out the name of hondas boyfriend ,they camp claim it was a codeword for a particular move against honda, but the people with an axe to grind are claiming it was shouted to put honda off.

Also, has anyone seen holm recently? I know cyborg got busted for peds, but fukk me holm was big as fukk when I saw her on a tv show the other day , so is rousey, I don't think either of them are natural.

i doubt she pulled her punches

in the first fight if she would of lost nobody would of blinked a eye, she was terrible and mediocre. maybe the lights were too bright for her in the first fight, either way i was neither impressed at her lack of speed and power

in her second fight she looked better, clearly a win but i didnt think it was good enough to get a title shot

i can see why dana picked her, if she was holding back it was great strategy because she got what she wanted but i dont believe it for one second.

styles makes fights, i totally believe in that

im happy she beat ronda but i dont see her holding the title for long, she was the perfect storm for ronda and ideal match up

against tate or cyborg i can see holm losing, especially to cyborg who is a bad stylistic match up for her.

we are going to find out whether dana really loves ronda, a smart man would let another girl do the dirty work and beat holm then bring ronda back after a extended vacation, anyways thats what i would do but the money he could make in a immediate rematch might be too big to turn down

which is obvious, because this is her 3rd fight in the UFC this year, so she couldn't have made that much improvement in a short period of time

also if she was on sterioids she would've knocked her her head off a lot earlier with some of those punches

She's in great shape....she apparently is someone who was working out like 5x a day at intervals for this fight. The truth about the matter is man..she just WANTED this more than anyone else. The other stuff is just filmsy modern day excuses. This kind of $hit wouldn't have worked in the 15 round title days of Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, and the other real champions in history.

nikkka do you realize how much weight both of them cut to get down 135lbs. holly is huge for that weight class, when she was boxing she fought at welter(147lbs) and super middle (154lbs). ronda is the same as well. when she was doing judo her class was 70kg or 154lbs. they both kill themselves to get down to that weight.

holly wasn't pulling no punches in the fights before ronda. even though holly looked like shyt in her first 2 ufc fights, those 2 fights were more tactical. styles makes fight, ronda was the bull, holly was the matador. nothing else to it.

They probably only hydrated 5 pounds while ronda fat ass hydrated 20 pounds.
