People saying no one will watch A.I. :mjlol:They said the same when film was replacing radio, when color was replacing black and white, when TV was replacing film, when CGI was replacing practical effects, when CGI was replacing hand drawn animation etc. etc. Movies and TV have already been using deep fake technology for years and no one boycotted it. If it's entertaining, people will watch.

This will just turn into prompts the same way images and short videos are now. Actors families will license the image and likeness to competing services. Google will have exclusive rights to Tupac, Meta will have the rights to Humphrey Bogart etc. the bit parts will be filled with A.I. generated actors.

All of this is inevitable.
We're going to create personalized media, and the likenesses will be licensed out.

Imagine The Sims but for everything.

Prices will go up sky high as soon as they can make clips long enough for viable storytelling. I don't think we'll be overwhelmed with AI content; it will be too expensive.

I mean you still gotta come up with a good script and story. The self generated stuff gonna all be the same.
Do you?

Think about how many children books there are with the same handful of styles va how many Dr Seuss, Where the Wild Things Are or Magic School Bus.

Making something worthwhile is secondary just making something to fill the market in a lot these businesses.

A thirty second ad for YouTube will probably be the first thing down but after that who knows

Y'all gotta stop blaming Gen Z for everything damn:mjlol: Speed running was invented by millennials

Video games became shytty for the same reason everything becomes shytty. Corporations get greedy and try to squeeze every dollar they can for the least value
That's been around since the 90s, with quake and doom. The rest is true.

After multiple viral OpenAI moments, right from their ChatGPT launch. Google has finally caught up in most of OpenAI's models, and even taken lead in a few, Veo being one of them.

After an intense 2024, we are back down to three labs OpenAI, GDM and Anthropic. xAI is lagging, hoping they'd catch up though Meta is now considerably behind, with not even a thinking model yet. When labs are already shipping agents.

Description
4 Minutes Straight of Google Veo Prompts

Is free will an illusion? This video explores the complex idea of "prompt theory," and whether our decisions are actually "predetermined" by a higher power. Examining arguments from "philosophy" and "theology", it questions our "agency and freedom" in the face of determinism and "decision making".

This freaks me out a little... it looks so real, how am I supposed to know what's real online anymore?
