Only two eps into season 2 and similar to season 1 I don’t know how this show works so damn well given the outlandish source material and being live action… but it’s phenomenal

I was thinking that throughout ep 2… well written and a lot of heart

What I will say is that Chopper's "human" form looks terrible. They need to change that design for season 3 and beyond. Yikes


Also, while I like Mikaela Hoover, her voice does NOT fit Chopper at all (but especially him in "human" form). You have this big Sasquatch-looking thing sounding like a 12-year-old girl


In "human" form, they should've used a voice filter/changer to modify the voice at the very least.

Also I'm glad they changed the color grading this season. Season 1 had the typical dim, desaturated Netflix look that made things feel a little flat but they must've realized during Little Garden that shyt just wasn't gonna cut it with how silly a lot of this shyt gets.
