The only way it would work I think is if the had Jaden or Willow in the movie I think they are weird enough to do a movie like that. Other than that they dropped the ball on it. The worse is me hearing Winston Duke wanting to do a bad boys reboot

That would be an instant flop waiting to happen

Seriously, I was talking to my wife about this the other day and told her that the next step for Hollywood would be to remake classic Korean flicks. Don't be surprised seeing this in theaters "cactified":

They need to stop remaking will smith movies. Some actors are their films. Will isn't some dude like Heath Ledger who disappears into each role. He's himself. Thats what he brings to the film and why it was successful in the first place. You can't just put someone else in their and expect the same results. If i was any of these actors i would refuse to do any reboots unless the character you're playing is more popular than the actor. IE: Magneto is more popular the Michael Fassbender
etc.
Otherwise do something original.

We like to harp on Hollywood but it’s mostly the fault of the general public for why things are the way they are. People want original content but that’s rarely reflected at the box office. With that said, customer enthusiasm around franchises has been declining

7-8 years ago, I use to go every other week. I'm not wasting my movie on sequels any more unless it's The Black Panther or the Bourne franchise
