The Native Americans were able to preserve a lot of Israelite customs because they did not live by non-Israelite people since they were the only ones to live on this side of the world. It was the reason why they left the middle east. The 10 northern Israelite tribes were heavy idolaters, which was their weakness and they tended to follow heathen customs a lot quicker than the southern Israelite tribes.
