people went out and bought Ace Hood's album, that's enough evidence to show that people actually do buy albums still.

his career is dead, and he aint even know it.

Dont these niqqas understand that when you appeal to the lowest common denominator of fan, while you may experience a wave of commercial success, you are appealing to the most fickle base of all. The artist is just a faceless entity whose popularity appeals to the fickle fan at a given time, but once somebody new comes along that artist is a wrap overnight. Future has already assumed 2 chainz "fan base", and once future falls off there will be a new niqqa for industry and brain dead groupie fans to dyck ride.

Tpain was the biggest artist in the world a few years ago. Now the niqqa couldnt sell out a concert at a barnes n noble. What happened to huge "stars" like soulja, waka, gucci, etc? Say what you want about a group like the roots, but because of their actual music, and not some superficial appeal, they have a loyal fan base that will go to their shows, buy their records, and they have the respect from industry types far and wide. The mainstream game in hip hop is fcked right now. Travel at your own risk.

dead

.. this post is on point, 100% accurate

i remember when i saw the video for feds watching on worldstar and had no idea it was a lead single, and was confused as hell as 2 where it came from. I dont think him droppin another album so fast was a bad idea, its the fact that he was 2 comfortable sittin on feds watchin instead of droppin another banger right after that and building up anticipation. 2chainz needs 2 drop a song where he's str8 rippin it.... same reason lil wayne blew up wit carter 3, it was lollipop, but a milli solidified the anticipation, not lollipop

Amen, and nikkas who have a stronger street/black fanbase seem to sale more physical copies than other artist from what I've seen...I posted links from this site which imo proved that a little bit

http://www.thatretailchick.me/2-chainz-based-on-a-t-r-u-story-digital-physical-album-sales/

But those numbers from 2chainz show he has crossed over enough to get the digital sales as he got a lot on his debut....but he didn't really have a crossover hit this time,so hopefully they at least shipped the same physical copies as last time...but his first album was wack which makes people hesitant to buy the next one,and honestly I dint even know this shyt was comin out and haven't heard anybody talkin about it....the buzz just wasn't there, suprised they didn't push it back
nikkas who have a stronger street/black fanbase get their shyt bootlegged/downloaded!

I fukks with your statement but T-Pain actually was a hott artist. He didn't build a J.Cole type fanbase but his shyt was more than a phase. Dude went platinum twice and got a gold record. I got a couple of tracks of his still on my IPOD and they still knock. Bartender, Blame It with Jamie Foxx etc, he did his thing. :yeshrug:
