That must be the reason for him not being in the itunes top 5 :lolbron:

95% of the time iTunes sales charts are on point with that billboard is going to be. This dude currently sitting at #6 and his last album went gold :wow:

I've said it before his last album was 5 mic recycle bin classic, easily worst album I heard last year, and this new joint is actually a bit better :heh:

Should have used :heh: again for the single

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
No Lie and Birthday were HUGE singles last year.

He didn’t have any tracks like that in HEAVY rotation to push his album like that. Coupled with horrible marketing as well – did he truly anticipate his album to push units like that.

Honestly, I had extremely low expectaciones for this lp but the content speaks for itself; he just didn’t have that bonerfied single to propel it to at least 100 k first week sales (BOATS 1 did 147 thousand units its first 7 days on shelves/I-Tunes).

Tity was under the false impression that his moniker would be standalone with enough impact to augment his sales but that wasn’t the case.

People not only need good product, they need you to have a strong single with significant airplay and not getting robbed and running from the offender.

This was a recipe for disaster and I hated it happened to 2chainz because this is his best major label effort (I’m considering all his involvements with DTP, Playas Circle, G.O.O.D. etc.)

I really like this album and hope it momentarily gets the shine I think is much warranted for Me Time.

I don't know if it's a valid excuse in a majority digital era. If people wan't the album that bad, they would download it from Itunes. You can't undership to the worlds #1 music retailer so.....

That you tho breh. ITunes is the #1 music retailer in the world for a reason.

People don't always want a physical copy of an album if they are just loading the mp3s into their ipod/iphone/smart phone anyways.

his career is dead, and he aint even know it.

Dont these niqqas understand that when you appeal to the lowest common denominator of fan, while you may experience a wave of commercial success, you are appealing to the most fickle base of all. The artist is just a faceless entity whose popularity appeals to the fickle fan at a given time, but once somebody new comes along that artist is a wrap overnight. Future has already assumed 2 chainz "fan base", and once future falls off there will be a new niqqa for industry and brain dead groupie fans to dyck ride.

Tpain was the biggest artist in the world a few years ago. Now the niqqa couldnt sell out a concert at a barnes n noble. What happened to huge "stars" like soulja, waka, gucci, etc? Say what you want about a group like the roots, but because of their actual music, and not some superficial appeal, they have a loyal fan base that will go to their shows, buy their records, and they have the respect from industry types far and wide. The mainstream game in hip hop is fcked right now. Travel at your own risk.

It was the same with Nas's LIG being undershipped. Thing is that I bet unless your name is Jay-Z, Kanye, or Justin Timberlake then your album will be "undershipped". iTunes is available for any and everyone. $9.99 can get you the album in under 2 minutes

iTunes is the biggest seller of music

That under shipped shyt means nothing in 2013
