I love 2K, but some seem to forget that outside of nba2k, all the other 2k sports games have failed and do not exist anymore. Where's the MLB, NCAA football & bball, Hockey, top spin games. They gone

I'll admit nfl2k became really overrated after they discontinued it. People talk about it like it was perfect. I hated the player models, the motion cap, and the overall arcade vibe it had. But competition is needed to bring out the best. The best EA gms were when 2k made them step up their gms

That might be the case but the nfl 2k series was better than madden in every category

yeah, but who knows how long it'll be before the 2k team put it together tho. because we dont know if the old crew that worked on those nfl games still together. and 2k needs to do better than APF that game was not good

the big guns are still there at Visual Concepts (2k)

okay lets see

mlb: i liked mlb 2k12, i enjoyed playing it more than The Show. but mlb went downhill in people eyes and baseball has discontinued the series

college football: that crap was terrible, never was on EA level

cbb: the license price got too high and sells were few. EA could make their cbb game because cbb was a joint deal they struck

hockey: EA surpassed it

topspin: never played

EA knows that when that day comes, their entire company will be in the shytter and it will send a very important message to the industry that a monopoly will never end well and that a sub-par product will always gets exposed on what it really is.

The good thing is that 2K sports has built that NBA 2K brand so heavy that people will look at NFL 2K just because of it.

EA Sports and the NFL "still have a number of years left on our agreements" to exclusively develop and publish video games, EA CEO Andrew Wilson told investors.
