I have no problem with celebrating home runs as long as it's not over the top. I remember when Jordany Valdespin hit his first home run and he was ecstatic and then the media ate him alive. Granted, he ended up having a bad attitude in general but in that moment, he was just a rookie who was just happy to hit his first home run for his mom.
