You keep hearing how Cali people keep fleeing the State and raising house prices elsewhere. So it’s safe to assume Cali house prices should drop, yet house prices here just continue going up and are at record highs. I mean, all you hear on the news is Cali people leaving.

Cali is experiencing net decrease which means that a lot of people are leaving But many people are still moving in.


Calis working class and middle class is leaving while the rich stay and continue to move there. Also white collar professionals still move there which is why your home prices are still high.

A lot of southern cities I notice don’t have basements. Seems to be the case for the houses I saw in Georgia and definitely the case for the houses I saw in Florida and Louisiana
