depends on where u stay 60k is more than enough to live comfortable in dallas...uptown dallas nah....university park area of dallas.. shyt nah... but north south west n east dallas..u can make it work...

in china, they are literally NOT allowed to own land (govt owns all land in china) and their main investment is their condo/apartment. Also, the stock market isn't a viable option for them either, so they HAVE to buy foreign real estate since the chinese real estate market has been collapsing the past few months.

real estate is basically the only way they can invest their money. this is why this happens.
