Imma bite the bullet and get a 20 tb hdd to hold me over a while then hopefully ram prices recalibrate at some point so I can start a new build and get some RAID going on this 20tb drive rather than relying on backups to an external drive

New project.

My old "useless" 2012 MacMini is now a lab computer that runs several Linux distros, including Linux server. And my MacMini 2018 is now the main server that runs Mac OS and the Synology is a storage server.

The Synology DS920+ is a great option and solution, fast. But the old MacMini needed to be revived and have now a better purpose as the MacMini 2018 is faster than the Synology. It supports better graphics and a better intel CPU.

The MacMini's connect to the monitor with wireless 4K UGreen HDMI dummy plugs.
