Real talk breh.....In 2007 I was homeless. Sleeping outside of Norfolk State University's Auditorium using my bookbag as a pillow. I was down to my last $200 and really thought about going to the pawn shop and getting a burner and robbin folks. I even planned out a stash, possible jump out locations, escape routes, etc. I knew in my heart that I wasn't about that life. I joined the navy breh. I was able to afford a place and a car. Got my credit straight and everything. Got out, bought a house with the VA home loan, and finished my degree. Use the system

Sorry to hear this OP. I figured I was going to be in the same situation once TSA cut me loose but I was able to find another well paying job within a week. shyt can turn around fast for you. Desperation can bring out the best in you. I hadn't interviewed for anything in 8 years and the hiring manager said that was the best interview he's heard in his life. Get a low wage job, find a roommate or two and just save your money. Once you have a stable work history more people will take a chance on you. Going back to school will help too. You can live off the refund and/or live on campus.
