That's what I got. Wouldn't it be -1?
(x -6)/(x + 6)
If x is 9, then 9-6/9+6 = 3/15 = 1/5
Or if x is 3, then 3-6/3+6 = -3/9 = -1/3

is the equation simplified to -1? Or is it just (x-6)/(x+6)?

I know everyone is going to roast me for this. :sadcam:

Errwhere
Okay...

1). F(x)= (x-7)/(x+5) solve for f(7), f(x+1), f(-5)

I got 0,-1,0

I'm at work so I may be a bit slow to post...
No shyt, you good:

7-7/12 = 0/12 = 0

x-6/x+6 = -1

-12/0 = imaginary numbahs!!!!

2). The function T given by T(d) = 10d + 20 can be used to determine the temperature T in degrees Celsius, and a depth d in kilometers inside of the earth. Find the temperature T(5), T(20) and T(1000)

70, 220, 10020

I feel like these are too easy...

Or I'm just wrong.

ETA: that initial answer was wrong...
That edit saved you. :whew:How you managed to get a negative number is beyond me. :damn::dead:If you really need help, I may be of assistance.
