When I lived in Jamaica as a youth I never saw anything that looked remotely gay. Its only over the past 20 or so years you have seen the influx of gays successfully penetrating the culture through protests, boycotts and maybe some under the table influences which have made things a bit more tolerable for them to exist. Gone are the days of boxing(punching) a battyman in his face, shoot battyman, chop battyman and battyman fi dead. The natural order of things are turned 180 degrees and as stated in the bible the meak shall inherit the earth.

Jamaica is growing soft on gays. According to the article OP posted you now have homo thugs terrorizing inner cities. In country where I am from its not tolerated at all. Its places like New Kingston, Seaview Gardens etc I have heard is a no gay zone at all but that could just be all talk but I wouldn't advise batty man to come to Jamaica and take liberties and think they are safe.
