Dug into the CBR at lunch today, found a few things that need fixing, broke off stud and broken exhaust stud mount. Previous owner tried fixing the exhaust header flange plate, found a few full systems on Ebay if I can't fix it, although this one is nice, it's a full D&D system, doesn't weigh shyt. Small oil leak on the clutch cover, new gasket on the way............

New mirrors from a '01 Honda VFR800 came today to replace the aging stock units along with updated newer footpegs.......

Just picked this up at my job, 1991 Honda CBR600F2, 25K on the odo, runs ok, needs a little work. This winter I have list of things I'm going to do to it:

Carb clean & Sync
Spark plugs
Chain & sprockets
Tires
Braided lines & pads
Mirrors
Fender kit
Adjustable levers
Bar ends
Windscreen
Fluid flush & replace
Air cleaner
New paint, Italian Red with white graphics

I plan on keeping it as a 2nd bike, back in the day this was the 1st sportbike I ever had, a '94 model, was blown away from it's speed and handling coming from a '74 CB750. Anyways, I'll update this with pics as progress is made.

1st pic is the CBR on the left, my current bike on right.......

Destroyed the fairings when it went down... said fukk it.... been rocking this look for about 3 years now

Looking more into it I can't fukk with that RC51 though.... the gas mileage :mjcry: I like my 45-50 MPG
That looks dope as fukk :whoo:
After riding an FZ-09.... next bike mite have to be a triple :francis:

I'm scared of that MV Agusta reliability though. And parts if I lay em down. I want that Street Triple R next :lupe:
I kinda want an fz09 already :francis:

A little bit more work and disassembly going on. Honda's placement of parts drive me crazy sometimes, I need to get the water temp sensor out to replace it with a new one from Koso for the new dash, pretty much mangled it as you can see from the pic. Ordered gasket sets for the carbs, gonna take them apart and clean them.........

Braided lines done, brakes bled, pegs changed out to PSR units. Brake and clutch levers changed to PSR GP units, these are fully adjustable with the thumbwheel that brings them in or out over the span of atleast 2 inches, lever ends are length adjustable on a slide/allen-key setup, they also bend up and back incase the bike falls over to avoid breakage.

Koso Digital Dash just got delivered with matching mileage, it is fully customizable, has a trim ring with custom indicators. Currently working on a ABS plastic template for a mount. Next up is exhaust, carb syncing, and dash wiring.

Video below...

Koso DB-02R digital dash is all wired up and functioning, gotta sync the carbs to fine tune the idle speed, check it and coolant temp. The dash has 2 pieces, the outer trim with indicators and the main unit with the display. The outer trim comes with a selection of custom indicators you can use depending on your setup, car or motorcycle. I used the L/R turn signals, high beam, sidestand, oil pressure, and neutral.

Display can be completely customized for 10-15-20K rpm, just about any cylinder config, temp, wheel size (for magnetic speed sensor), mph/kph, backlighting, and list of other things.

Been a minute, finally got the bike put together and running. Wheels are powdercoated with the Honda Racing rim tape, Koso dash is all wired and carbs are about as close as I'm going to get them for syncing. New Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's tires on front and rear. A few things left to tidy up, recently plated and tagged it so I can ride it legally, put the old fairing back on temporarily.

Forgot about this thread.....

Added an aftermarket LED plate bracket and turn signals. Powdercoated the wheels again, along with the sprocket nuts, peg mounts, bar ends and lever/adjusters this time to Neon Yellow. Black rear sprocket, new chain, and new front sprocket. No new bodywork yet
