For me the thought of Lebron being considered the GOAT over is straightstatus.

Lebron is a one trick pony, just bulldozes his way to the basket. He's an inconsistent jumpshooter and lacks that crisp footwork/fundamentals. Jordan is basketball in its purest form.

Also, Lebron benefited from playing in the weakest eastern conference in the history of the game but somehow his stans act like making the Finals playing in that conference is a huge accomplishment.

Also, Jordan completely dominated his opponents in the Finals while putting up monster stats and never going to 7 games. Realistically, Lebron would have 1 ring if he hadn't been bailed out by Ray Allen and Kyrie but again, Lebron stans act like Lebron is better than Jordan.

I don't hate LeBron.

I think any black person who truly has disdain for him is weirdo and/or a c00n. How can you hate someone who exemplifies black excellence both on and off the court?

With that said...

- I'm an Indiana Pacers fan so I coudn't root for him when he trashed my team every year.

- Kevin Garnett is my favorite player of all time (Along with KD, T-Mac and Reggie Miller), so when he went to Boston, I rooted for the C's over LeBron

- Kevin Durant is my current favorite player and LeBron's rival. I tend to gravitate to the B-side or the counterpart to the lead character in stories, so I always rocked with KD when others rocked with LeBron.

- I truly believe he is no longer "by far the best player in the world" anymore, as Durant has closed that gap shut. I also believe that both Curry and Kawhi bring elements to the game that, while it won't make them as versatile and overall great as LeBron, make them superior in certain categories.

Definitely don't hate him though. I don't think I respect any modern day athlete more than I respect LeBron: his on court excellence, how he looked out for his black childhood friends and gave them a venue to be great, how he stays out of trouble and helps his (predominantly black) hometown, how he has a beautiful black queen at home with three young children.

How can I as a black man hate that? Nah.

I dont think people most hate LeBron.. I think most people understand hes an all time talent, but his greatness a little overrated at times but still top 10-15 all time. I think most people just hate the way fans treat him, specifically younger fans who compare him to Jordan or even say hes better. Its going to be so interesting and entertaining to watch his career over the next 5 plus years as he is no longer able to missile his way into the paint and can't score all his buckets from 2 feet away. He is not a good jump shooter and this will only add to the intrigue.

but Lebron stans are actually serious when they say their wild claims. On top of that, they lack humor and don't bring entertainment at all.

Everyone has funny stans thats weak. There are extremely annoying LeBron stans but the Kobe standom has Swagnificent and a perma caps locked retard, you can't even try to make a case that one stan group is better than anothet

Everyone knows he is one of the all time greats and will always be heralded as such. But all that extra bullshyt he does is what is annoys me about him. The constant politicking with the refs is disgusting. He isn't the only NBA player who does this, there are several, but every single time he drives to the hoop he thinks he should be at the line and looks over to the ref with his arms out when the whistle doesn't go his way.
