The scriptures say a lot of things.

In principle, I can see where the issue lies.

But, in practice, there’s not too much wrong with gambling. I find it funny what you can bet on.

But, I also find it disturbing how frivolous gambling can be

If you go gambling, always bring a certain amount of money with you (an amount you can lose without it being a real "problem" for your financial situation). Thats your amount for the night. If you lose it go home. If you make profit go home. NEVER get caught in the rush to get "just a little more" from your ATM.

Ive seen this multiple times with slot machines when I was smoking hookah at a bar. You have dudes sitting there for hours wasting all their money feeding the slot machine dollar after dollar with no reward.

Which scriptures? Which verses?

I enjoy a little wager here and there but I feel bad for people who spend their non-entertainment money on gambling.

share some stories breh :feedme:

Not going to get into much detail because it's a little close to home :whoa:

All I'll say is that my dad developed a gambling problem after my grandmother died. Got out of control and eventually led to my parents getting a very ugly divorce when I was around high school/college age.

:salute: i am no good at maths or like games too much so im not worried about becoming casino/bookies addicted but i am really feeling puting 20.00 on a deontay wilder 6th round KO win. it would be my first bet, an extra 200 is great. thats surplus cheese lol.

Personally I don't care for gambling at all.

Not for any religious reason, but because I've had several family members basically fukk up their lives over it.

Also, I'm kind of cheap. :yeshrug:

we're both frugal thats why i think this guarantee in wilder would make a safe 20.00 bet.

If your going to the casino, always assume whatever bankroll you decide to play is already lost. If you double it, bounce!

Control your emotions so you don't go running to the ATM.
Gambling is a fool's game to me but this is good advice if you're gonna do it :manny:

I would just set aside an amount that I'm fully prepared to lose before I start
