I'm trying to get a handle on which period in time you're referring to.
Black walstreet happened in an era where black people were still getting lynched, were segregated from white people, when there was no internet, less black millionaires/billionaires etc…

So we have more going on for us today yet your first guess at what solves the problems black people face is voting? You point out how the govt destroyed black walstreet (which is you assuming they’d do it again today) yet you want to tell people that voting comes first? You look confused

Oof! Not a good example.

Open racism didn't prevent Black walkstreet from getting burned down.

Black businesses exist breh. I worked at one for ten years before moving on to big tech. I may even go back once I collect RSUs.

That is of course the SCOTUS doesn't strike down affirmative action for government contracts

When you’re a coward, you’ll always want your adversaries to hide how they feel about you and pretend to be your friend over them stating how they feel openly. You can’t helped with that

And I can't help you stay on topic apparently instead of switching to platitudes.

How did black wall street fair in the end with open racism? Don't answer, we both know

Wow I didn’t know black businesses existed before you stated that :ohhh: :comeon:

Wake me up when there’s a community where black people came together to support each others businesses like they did with black walstreet. A time where there was no internet, no affirmative action, less black billionaires/millionaires etc. Telling black people that if they did black walstreet with less, then what could they accomplish with more actually empowers them. Telling them who to vote for empowers cacs.

I already know what side you’re on when it comes to that :coffee:: unimpressed:

Imagine changing people saying they want racists to admit to their racism into wanting racist cacs to bomb, burn, lynch and murder black men, women and children

That’s the type of argument you’ll make to defend cac democrats :unimpressed:

Imagine using strawman arguments because you can't answer the op's question or my rebuttal to you using black wall street as an example. I'm pretty sure the victims of that massacre probably wouldn't have preferred open racism during this instance.

Just like your posts, the OPs post is a false premise. “Open racism” was always if you don’t like black people, then say that. It was NEVER if you dont like black people then go bomb and destroy their businesses and pass laws that hinder them from success.

That’s just a leap you make to defend cac democrats.:unimpressed:

There you go with the strawmen again, I never mentioned democrats in this exchange, you did. You're probably looking for someone to save you right now lol.

You have a very low understanding of "open racism" if you define it as "openly saying you don't like black people". It's no wonder you don't understand how black wall street is an invalid proof by contradiction to the premise of the thread. But in any case the cacs who burned down Tulsa were more than likely tossing around the N word while they burned down the town.

Nobody dapped this post. You are in the wrong, thinking that external pressure from white supremacists is the only way to motivate black people to do anything constructive. Hell, if a CAC poster said this, they would get banned. :what:

I’m not defining open racism. I’m defining what people meant when they said they wanted their “racism in the open”. That always referred to wanting racists to openly state their racist positions. It NEVER referred to wanting black people openly murdered and burned or openly hindered from being successful. That premise is false and is a leap…

And black walstreet is invalid to what? I said the people of black walstreet accomplished more collectively for black people than voting has accomplished in the last 40 years. If that’s wrong then what do black people collectively have that compares to black walstreet?
