Honestly, how the hell is the 2-3-2 format really a home court advantage?

because if you win just one game on the road and one of the first 2 home games, you're straight.

Exactly since this format was introduced in 85 only 2 times has the team without home court advantage won the middle 3 games. Can u name those teams. This format heavily favors the team with home court advantage

Lemongrass, cherries, alkaline water
Finals should be 3-3-1 instead of 2-3-2

Team with HCA opening with 3 straight home games :beli: I'm surprised you clowns didnt just propose 7-0 with every game being played on the team's court with HCA. Only acceptable change is 2-2-1-1-1

Okay, but how many times is there a game 7 to make it 4>3?

Most Finals are over in 6

You guys arent considering teams making adjustments after a couple of games which puts you in the meat of the series in the middle

It actually gives you more of a home court advantage. Yeah a split of the first two games is likely, however the lower seed winning all 3 had home is unlikely. Like someone else said it's hard to win 3 in a row against one of the two best teams in the league even at home. Basically all the home team has to do is not lose in 5 and they have pretty big advantage.

A lot of series are essentially over before the other team even sees their home floor. Look at how often a team wins when they win the first two games of a series. As the non HCA team, unless you sweep your home games (which almost never happens) you have to win a closeout game on the road. The team with HCA has a huge advantage in the 2-3-2 format.
