I already know EXACTLY why positive music is'nt pushed to the black youth. My question is why doesnt that bother u. (Assuming u are black) and for the record, i hear LOTS of positive, uplifting songs on the pop/white stations.
While you're at it, admit how songs like this in general are rare. You think black folks run radio? :wtf: You really think these kinds of songs by black artists aren't being played because we don't make enough of them? :wtf:

Nothin to do with that song SPECIFICALLY. im saying we need OUR black artists to start making songs like this. Positive and uplifting. Do u find sumthing wrong with that?
So we're asking white people for favors now??? Pullin at their pants legs begging them to feed us a proper diet on their stations?

For one, no you don't hear LOTS of positive records on pop/white stations. Secondly, what kind of grown ass black man is listening to pop/white stations? :wtf:

Why is it a negative for a black man to not want to listen to rap poison? and yes the pop stations play hella positive songs. Hell, i just heard this one yesterday. Very motivating. OneRepublic - I Lived:

Outside of Cole, Kendrick, and a couple of others, positive songs on black radio ain't popping. People posting songs from 2-15 years ago ain't helping the argument, either. You hear more positive songs from pop CAC artists than black artists nowadays. Even R&B be on that c00n shyt with the 808s club beats, subject matter that is all about sex than the traditional love making songs, and the likes.

However, outside of Drake a couple of others, most of the negative songs on albums, don't sell like that anymore. Makes you wonder why radio promote songs that can't push albums. :sas2:

Fam I was talking to my girl about this the other day. When we have kids, I'm not allowing mainstream rap music to be played in my house. shyt is damn near poison.

Uplifting, positive songs that tell our women its ok to be "normal" and to be yourself. Especially in this IG/social media age that we're in where its added pressure to be somebody you're not . Colbie Caillat - Try:

and a Black man (Babyface) wrote that song.

If he wrote it for a black artist black folks wouldn't wanna hear it tho :mjpls:
