Bron is a gym rat. Strict diet. Maybe even on hgh. End of the day you discount his fitness as part of the reason he never got hurt.

I remember a clip where Lebron was leading a work out session with team USA and Deron Williams thought the sits up reps they was doing was over

and Lebron said 2 more reps of 50 or something and Deron looked like :picard::dahell:

:snoop: you can tell most of them don't work on their body during the offseason

they start around training camp not all year round

KAJ Lebron and Malone did yoga and they lasted years :whew:

found it

Deron had the :dwillhuh: face the whole time lebron outlined the workout:laff:

Some guys probably just have bad genetics, but with others, it's so obvious why they start fading at 27-28 instead of 32-33.

Ray Allen was another guy who was obsessive about taking care of his body, and it paid off. In the 2011 All-Star Game he was three years older than the next oldest guard on the court (who was Kobe, someone else who also took fanatical care of his body). In 2013, he was essential in a team's championship run at an age when nearly everyone he started out with was retired.

Shaq lasted a bit longer than that, but year, they hurt themselves.

It's even worse with some of those guards though. Crazy how many guys start to decline around 26-27 when that athleticism takes a bit more work to hold onto.
