Hopefully the video game industry switches its release day to Friday with the music industry

Getting my games on Friday and playing them over the weekend is much more appealing than getting them on Tuesday. Always hated that day as a release day.

Edit: Unless you mean only on Fridays then... ehh idk. If a game was coming out on a Friday but you knew the store had the game in stock since Monday then you'd probably want the game on Tuesday.

Yes. Some ppl work (unless you are a lazy dope addict who stays up all night stalking men like @dBoyFresh*212 ) and get off late. They are usually too tired or have other obligations to really play, esp on weekdays. They usually can only get on games during the weekend so it would only make sense to drop it on Fri

And Nintendo drop they shyt on Sundays. EIther way, any day of the week is going to feel like a bytch to me because I'll know the game is there days before the official release date.

I use to say the same thing, but I kinda prefer the tuesday thing, it gives me time to mess with a game a bit here and there after work through out the week and really sink in on the weekend if I want. Having that new game hype on a friday would kill anything I had planned for the weekend.

What do you guys think about getting a digital copy of a physical game you purchase online like bandcamp?

I always try to purchase CDs (or the physical counterpart) when buying music and I always thought it was dope that Bandcamp gave you the files to tide you over until your products arrive in the mail. Just like how Blu Rays give you a digital download for mobile use.

Or immediate access to download updates that link up with the content on disc when you put it in to confirm your license?
