These are two different discussions, different problems, with different solutions.
One is a business where normal rules don't apply so one must use other rules to apply business strategy like how US soldiers murk out people in the Middle East. Most participants are idiots who have been schooled to become idiots since they were kids due to various inefficiencies in society and the culture. Everyone knows the consequence but they are so rocked or stupid that they don't care about them.
The other is structural problems within local governmental agencies, like the above it's a bunch of idiots, no snitching culture and worse they are enforcers of institutional racism enforcing it on the people that pay for their protect them.
That's how I see it, it's not rocket science. Why do people always got to talk about the other when one is mentioned? Both need to be addressed but mentioning gangs when we are talking racism is pure deflection. What are they possibly adding to the discussion?
Both are huge problems, the former even a bigger problem. Not that they are killing each other but that they are standing outside of society, uneducated, retards and capable of killing people that look just like them often for nothing. But that's another problem, we need to solve economic inequality, systemic racism, cultural problems, education, more efficient policing, legal problems like legalizing weed, penal system and all that.
Which obviously is an incredibly complex task.
To solve the police thing is just to get officers to talk, get judges etc to punish motherfukkers and put cameras on these fukks. A seemingly much simpler task.
