You never saw the man play. Your opinion is irrelevant.
:mjlol:

Ok.

Grant averaged 13-14ppg because he was the third option, his game was held back. 93-94 MJ's gone, he's now the 2nd option, and he puts up 15ppg.:unimpressed:

Guys putting up numbers in college and not doing the same in the pros isn't unheard of.

Bosh was putting up 24 a game before going to Miami, dropped to 18 a game as the 3rd option. Bron leaves and he's putting up 20 a game again.

What was the questionable call in game 7 that you saw?

Yall boys young :ohhh:

This was known as "The Call"

It happened at the end of game 5 in a 2-2 series, headed back to Chicago for game 6. One of the other refs said publicly after the game he thought it was a terrible call.

The 94 Bulls were legit, breh.

And they got even better by 96 adding Rodman to replace Grant and Ron Harper to replace BJ Armstrong. Plus Kukoc off the bench. Yall boys don't understand. That team wasn't just loaded, everybody was perfect for their particular role. Pippen was basically a superstar talent, so he just took on whatever duty Mike didn't wanna be bothered with. And he did it happily despite being ridiculously underpaid. He was better than every other team's 2nd best player. Rodman was a HOFer who didn't need the ball. He affected the game in so many ways without getting in Mike's way. Perfect. No team had a 3rd best player they could maximize like Rodman. Harp used to get a lil shine when Mike rested. Former all star and good defender but Mike used to shyt on him in Cleveland you know he ain't shooting without permission. Kukoc was like a unicorn off the bench. 6'-10" players couldn't shoot like him back then. He was rare. Probably could have started for a lot of teams.

People think these top heavy teams are super teams or the 99 Rockets or 04 Lakers with a collection of names. I remember in HS my coach used to always say "it's not the best 5 players, it's the 5 who play the best together that will play."

The Bulls had the best player in the game. But that doesn't mean anything unless you're able to build around him.

I don't see a debate between Bill Russell and Wilt. In their head to head matchups Wilt doubled him up in points and had way more rebounds. Wilt was clearly better. But he rarely beat Bill because he didn't have the horses. Nobody wins anything without a team. We've seen ll the greats lose by themselves. It doesn't work that way. Having the best player in the game is a big piece. But you need other pieces to win.

I can tell you never saw him play because you immediately start talking about numbers. Because that's all you have. No memories of anything you're talking about. :russ:

I guess scoring is the only way to impact a game. As if 15 ppg is trash. :comeon:. And if you saw him play you'd know he was money from midrange. Known for that top of the key jumper right at the top of the circle. And still shot over 50% despite taking more outside shots than most at his position during that time. Couple that with 11 rebounds and he's now averaging a double double. Oh yeah, not to mention 2nd team all defense.

There's more to basketball than googling ppg of players you never saw play.

It was a critical game that's I remember. What do you remember about this series other than sucking on your mama's titty?

At Clemson he was the ACC leading scorer and POY. He got buckets in college.

You brought up scoring.

Where did I say 15ppg was trash?

Nobody in this thread questioned Horace's ability to play ball. In a thread about Horace talking to Sam Smith you came in here comparing him to Bosh and talking about him leading the ACC in scoring, pretending that you were the only one old enough to watch Horace actually play like he played when games were coming on tv in black and white, and going off about MJ not winning until he got help:skip:

Explain your BJ, Toni & Kerr points. I’m not seeing it

I was a kid during the 90s, so the following takes are from watching Last Dance:

BJ on Charlotte was seen as a joke to MJ. BJ had one good game and MJ was like :mjlol: that’s cute.

When it came to Toni, MJ was like :ehh: after the second Olympic game but overall he didn’t see the hype.

He punched Kerr then felt bad that he “beat up the smallest player on the team” like Kerr was some little kid

MJ was the ultimate. He was a God, and other(current)players pray to him. This documentary made it clear that NO ONE was on his level. NBA=MJ and since he retired, it hasn’t been as good.

Perspective is crazy

The BJ thing I took as him competing and not lying down to Michael. Kerr I saw as showing backbone to Michael punch or not. Toni also regrouped after the 1st game and went on to become a valued contributor to the team

That’s how I took it
