Lol damn bruh I got to give it to you, you consistent as fukk

Not surprised the only good game released this gen besides Zelda

Story is lacking
Great gameplay - the gimmick actually works and is integral to taking down creatures.
Yet another cac, so I wasn't really invested.
Aiming reticle is atrocious (can't change color from white)
Gets extremely repetitive after a couple of hours of hunting.
Beautiful backdrops and locations
Customization is lacking, though they do tease you with some costumes/armor pieces, it all feels pretty lackluster.
In conclusion; its quite the "tech demo", Horizon 2 is gonna be GOTY easily, but this is just "meh" for me. While taking down creatures feels "epic-ish", its not on the scale of Shadow of the Colossus so don't think you're going to be doing half of the shyt you were doing in that game.
you really listed that first? lol no...the story is far from lacking....
also, it's just a 'tech demo'?....again: lol no...the game shows that GG applied what they know/learned about the tech, and made more than just a 'demo'...
...seriously, in the thread about the game, if what you said were true, there would be more people pointing those things out....yet, there's not....so basically, either the game isnt what you wanted it to be, so you trying to trash it; and/or you trying to hard to be contrarian....

SotC is in its own lane. Only Dragon's Dogma comes close in that big beast take down aspect but unfortunately they flopped and decided to go MMO instesd of taking chances with a sequel. Do you adjust to the aiming reticle or just stays annoying? I barely played FFXV and i fukking hate it. Do you like FFXV?Story is lacking

Maybe in PS4 land, but the clear GOTY amongst the majority of the gaming community is Zelda breh. Get familiar.

Whether I posted it first or last, doesn't make it any less true to me. I'm not even comparing it to the GOATS out there, on its own, the story is a slow spinning carousel of tropes that simply fall flat when introduced into the setting of the game. The narrative is never overbearing or important enough to take seriously (to be fair open world games tend to take away from that), the supporting characters are dull and lifeless, and you never feel anything for anyone besides Aloy. Though this game is less of a character piece and more of an experiment in game mechanics that are highly reveled.
I use the term loosely but still, the game feels like a "tech demo" as did Watch Dogs, great mechanics, a solid gimmick, but this isn't the magnum opus that will be the second game. Don't get me wrong, this is a great start to the year, but is this GOTY material? No, not by any means, but its a nice breath to be spewed forth onto the gaming community.
