I've been meaning to play this game for long time. Now I get the chance to do it for free just in time as I just finished FF7 Remake.

Hunting Dino’s and it looks really nice. I’m personally gonna wait until theres a patch. If there’s no patch, I just won’t ever play the expansion. I’m not playing games a in 30fps at this point in my life

when you unlock all the skills, have all the weapons/ammo and start implementing them in different styles/combos, the shyt is addicting and fun as fukk.

I don’t think it’s happening although I wish it would...I’m trying to play it and I hate how the character moves in this...I think I’ve been spoiled rotten by these 60 fps upgrades

nah...I’ve bailed on it a couple times...and I’m about to bail on it again...outside of hype I can’t even say I have a real interest in the 2nd one since I haven’t finished the first

Games always been a like 7.8 maybe more or less for me.

Pros-

• Incredible graphics, first game to utilize HDR as it was built specifically for the ps pro
• The shooting gameplay is the best I’ve in an open world, the movement, aiming, feel, is top notch
• The concept, the dinosaurs how you fight them, why they exist, big brain ideas
• Yeah the overall story is serviceable

Cons-

• The story is serviceable
• The melee/human AI and fighting is horrible
• Most of the characters are highly forgettable and bland
• The overall world as pretty as it is, is bland
• Aloy is boring
• Insert all my other typical open world gripes with games here

I’ll say though, I do think this is a great base to build a way more involved and interesting game off. If they can make the world and traversal more appealing, fix the human fights, and give me a reason to a shyt about anything going on i think i can get there with the series. The first game in a new IP isn’t always the home run, sometimes its the second, like Uncharted.

For instance, I’m more excited for a sequel for this than i would have ever been for Days Gone.
