I like the Horizon series - story in the first game was interesting, kind of fell off a little with the second. Fantastic visuals for sure, but Aloy is a crappy character.

All that being said this game didn’t need another remaster.

I like the gameplay but holy shyt Alloy is horrible, her personality consists of only asking questions to other characters, like thats 90% of her dialogue and the other half of her personality is being absolutely the best at everything, the definition of a Mary Sue.

Gameplay is straight, Graphics are A1, and the story/characters are mid. It’s a 8/10 series at best which isn’t bad. Aloy seems to have more of a personality in that Lego game lol.

As in, she moves merch but is a boring mc who is so overprotected with the writing that it's hard not to dislike her i.e., she's such a wooden, shytty companion to everyone, but they all still kiss her ass... except for Sylen (voiced by the late great Lance Reddikk). Not surprising that he was the only interesting character in the franchise.

With all that said, total franchise sales (PS4/PS5 era only)

1. Marvel's Spider-Man: 50 million - 3 games
2. God of War: 38 million - 2 games (66 million if you count ps2 & ps3 games)
3. The Last of Us: 37 million - 2 games
4. Horizon: 32 million - 2 game

Not true. The bundles price were priced with the game, not for free. God of War Ragnarok's bundle was priced $559 which included the price of the game itself.
