Meh. Been desensitized to the point I watched 'A Serbian Film' and didn't FFWD any of it, either, the three times I watched it.

Hereditary was.....interesting.....to say the least. One of the better twists in my memory.

I would suggest 'August Underground' just off the factor alone if you wanna get 'shocked'.​

Yeah, that qualifies under the 'torture/revenge' genre. Same dude made 'Two Sisters'....another 'disturbing' flick.

I like all the sub-genres listed with psychological being my favourite and the monster genre probably being my least favourite tho.

Mothman prophecies still fukks me up like 15 years later, sometimes i still see the shadow moth in the corner of my ceiling

Descent is one of my all time favourites

And well, Shining is the Shining.

If you like fukked up/psychological i suggest

1) À l'intérieur (2007) - IMDb - probably the most fukked up movies i've ever seen
2) Haute tension (2003) - IMDb - crazy stalker killer movie with a crazy twist
3) Martyrs (2008) - IMDb - just an overall crazy/brutal movie with an ending that blew me away
4) Audition (1999) - IMDb - just pure fukked up
5) Frontière(s) (2007) - IMDb - good 'hostel' type of movie that's way more crazy/brutal
