Nah, your attention span is gahhhbage, don’t blame the movie
Midsommar’s runtime was rather lengthy, or it seemed long as some parts were boring as hell, but I didn’t even realize Sleep was close to 3 hours. Movie flowed extremely well.
They could have cut certain scenes in Midsommar, agreed, especially that scene where she was high and passed out, started hallucinating in the trees, that was extra. Dr. Sleep was close to 3 hrs
- I didn’t notice that either, it was that interesting. I know my attention span is shyt so for me not to notice how long it was, that’s crazy lol.

Now if you took the angle that it never showed up in the movies blatantly I’d say yeah you’re right. And then it goes back to artist intent vs audience interpretation and whether the artist intent means anything at that point. And I’d concede that point. But to say it’s just not true is, false

LOL IM NOT YELLING THIS IS JUST MY POSTING STYLE. THINK NOTHIN OF IT.
ANYWAYS WE BEEN HAD THIS DEBATE.. MY ONLY STANCE WAS THAT CRAVEN WROTE THE MOLESTING PART OUT OF THE MOVIE SCRIPT AND THATS WHAT MADE FREDDY LIKEABLE. IT WAS THE CORRECT CHOICE BRODIE.
And my point was he clearly is and was smart enough to still allude to stuff. Craven wasn’t a guy to let censorship or people’s scruples scare him away. Also Freddy isn’t likable to me lol. Not the way Craven made him anyway. That came later with other directors and writers who didn’t know any better. That’s why he did new nightmare to bring him back to the essence. That was part of the point for that movie. He never intended or wanted Freddy to be likable.
