If you need a transplant, your immune system is already pretty compromised. I don’t see how getting the vaccine prior to the procedure is safe. I can see if they wanted to do it afterwards but this is stupid. A patient could end up with complications and then have even more issues with the actual transplant. There’s not enough data to prove that those who are awaiting a transplant are in a healthy enough condition to be vaccinated and maintain the fragile state of health they already have.

Nothing controversial if you know how donor process works. They always have to consider survival rate. Organs can't be wasted and they have to go to people with highest probability of survival.

These are the types of situations people don't consider that could occur when they make their choices.
Isn’t the list years long?

Money decides more than anything which is wrong, if I’m remembering right the one Rothschild got like 2 heart transplants, but we not talking obese vs fit or relatively fit, we talking you being vaxxed or not should not dictate if you get an organ, what if they then say your socioeconomic status matters would you die on that hill too
If doctors and science say already sick folks that need transplants have a higher probability of dying if they aren’t Vaccinated opposed to those that are, you don’t believe them:jbhmm:

My point exactly breh
How when finding another doctor won’t matter, the organs come from a agency that oversees the donations. This isn’t about a second opinion.

unless I’m just totally misunderstanding your point:hubie:

No. We don't have a foreign organ implanted in us to reject.

There sheer amount of completely ignorant shyt I see in TLR nowadays is just :snoop:

Dudes are so confident they're right it's crazy. I'm almost jealous because I can be sure I'm right about something and still constantly second guess it.

Because it'll be further compromised by the implant, itself, along with the meds the patient has to take for years. Getting vaccinated lowers the chance of infection dramatically, and creates antibodies for the patient without the risk of infection.
