If possible I recommend nurses to quit their current spot and go travel right now. My sister in law is getting $3500 a week with travel assignments. You still gonna be treated like shyt but you might as well get paid for it.

Nurses I've spoken with say it isn't worth the money because you have to pay for lodging, travel, food, etc. By the time you get paid, you barely made more than if you stayed where you were and, often times, you lose money.

Yeah, it’s folks making serious money out here with that. I’d be telling these hospitals to kiss my ass right now if I were them.

Yup! I quit my job and make triple what I was for less work. I was sick of busting my ass for that little ass paycheck. These hospitals are desperate. Place I'm at now asked me to stay longer and I said I only want to work 4 days a week, they agreed. I also asked for more money and I'm wanting to hear back. If not, I'm leaving. That simple. There are people willing to pay.

Cousin is making $5,000/week as a travel nurse on 13 week contracts. Says the hospitals are paying BUKU money to travel nurses but not to bedside nurses and it has them feeling some type of way...so the bedside nurses are quitting and turning to travel nursing. When hospitals complain of a "nursing shortage", they are lying. They just overwork the shyt out of them and don't pay them enough so they quit and go elsewhere. Some places in bumfukk America are so desperate they are offering $8,000/wk contracts with paid housing for 5 weeks and they are still understaffed.

Healthcare in America is a shytshow and is definitely going to collapse with this variant. These unvaccinated idiots are filling up the ICU's and hospitals don't have enough beds to accommodate these morons who don't believe in the experts until they contract the disease and wobble their fat asses into the hospitals demanding to be taken care of. I feel his pain, fukk you antivax pieces of shyt :pacspit:

BS. Some of these contracts are paying 10k a week. What are you eating and where are you staying that you can't make 15000 a month work? No way you make more money working as a staff nurse. The agencies mostly pay for that stuff anyway. They're just yanking your chain...

The Wrong Side of the Tracks

True story. A nurse here in NJ travelled all the way to Texas for one of those contracts. She made about $8,000. Most of it went to the rent on her apartment in NJ AND the apartment she rented in Texas. Came to about $3,000. Add car insurance, gas, food, and other expenses and she made a grand total of $1500..... a sum she could have made doing a few hours of overtime.

That bytch ass nikka gonna take his ass to work and shut the fukk up. Cause if he was bout that action, his post would have been titled, I just quit my hoe ass job cause I refuse to be around unvaccinated patients. But naw, he chose the passive agressive cry like a bytch route. nikka quit! Who stoping you? Or, do like a real nikka and do some shyt to get fired so you can collect unemployment. But I can tell from his post he not a real nikka and he probably not from Harlem.

They either lying to you or they tried to hole up in the Ritz Carlton. :russ:

If you can’t make 4-10 thousand a week work then you need to just stay home. A lot of agencies are even taking care of the housing and car.

So 2 contrasting takeaways from this

1) She’s kinda right but 2) we allow the entirely wrong people to work in this field. I personally dont know how we’d do it, but there should be some sort of overarching department all of these jobs like police, social workers, teachers, judges, healthcare workers fall under where you should not be allowed to work in that field unless you can demonstrate some high level of morality compared to the general population. America in general has a serious problem with this.

Why not just fix the root of the problem? With this kind of thinking , no wonder we are already short staff on nurses.
