First off 'The Girl is Mine' is far and away the weakest song on Thriller but I understand why they put the song on there.

Thriller is a themed song that has been on rotation the past 40 years. It's more fatigue than anything. But even taking away the video the song conceptually is brilliant and there was nothing like it at the time.

Just imagine if the song never had a video. It would seem like an out of place weird song on an otherwise great R&B album about love.

Its amazing to me how much quality didnt make the album. "Who Do You Know" is a top 5 MJ track to me & it didn't make the cut. I'd personally have swapped out "The Girl Is Mine" with it.



"Hot Street" was too and still sounds great today.

Nah, Jam is fire fire. It's dope on its own but it's a hype gym song.

Also Human Nature is not a song about even the same subject matter as those other two.

As a huge Michael Jackson fan, It is my least favorite song on the album, does not mean it's a bad song. I like the song more for the impact it made for MJ's career more than the song itself
