What albums specifically do you consider the superior music he’s drawing from

A lot of Prince (Around the World in a Day especially), Parliament Funkadelic, Shuggie Otis' Inspiration Information, some of Miles Davis' 70s fusion stuff

I like the album and it's strength is hearing all these influences mixed together but I think it's still at its best when he still has one foot in hip hop like on Spread

I remember preferring the love below just by a little bit but i felt like speakerboxx was underrated

Ran the full project back today and agree.

Speakerboxxx and Sir Lucious way more representative of why I listened to so much Outkast in the day than TLB and about half of Stankonia.

Biggest problem with TLB is Andre can't really sing but he spend most of the album singing. The eccentric Clinton, Prince mashup approach to the music would have worked better if he spent more time doing what he was great at.
