I understand that a lot of politics go into makin these albums. I really do. I'm sure it's a whole bunch of favor for a favor type bullshyt and that's how certain rappers find their ways onto other nikkas albums.

But the idea for this thread came to me while I was listening to "Who I Am" off the Pusha album.

I mean that beat is just too fukkin grimy. I'm talkin like real goon music. You hear a joint like that and it'll make you wanna go shank a nikka wit a shard of broken glass while he ain't lookin. :jawalrus:

It's just a real hard, moody ass beat.

And these nikkas went and got 2 Chainz and Big Sean to try and bless the shyt.

I repeat... 2 Chainz... and BIG SEAN

:comeon:

Like show me the nikka that hears that beat and says... :ehh:... "You know who would sound hot over this. Big Sean."

:what:

Big Sean????

:snoop:

No disrespect cause I actually like some of his stuff, but come on man you know just from hearin the beat that he AIN'T built for it. That would be no different than throwin Pusha on "My Last" wit Chris Brown. It's the same shyt. You don't have to be a fukkin genius to know the shyt ain't gonna click.

So I guess this thread is for those times where the beat was hot but they got the WRONG rapper to spit a guest verse.

Rick Ross - Accident Murderers. Rozay verse was cool, but had nothing to do with the concept of the song.

Q Tip on "Drink Away The Pain"...

Infamous would have been 100% FLAWLESS if Q Tip somehow got sick or stuck in traffic while that song was being recorded...

This is what sticks out the most for me...I love Styles P music, but he fcuked up the whole swag of BMF with his awkward flow...

The beat and Rick Ross' swag were so :blessed: until Styles p came on :stopitslime:

WTF you talking about

On a Styles P track I will accept that verse...But BMF was a swagged track...Rick Ross was sweating pure swag on that track...

It is just one of those tracks that sound better when you dumb things down, and just say some ridiculous "I am feeling myself right now" type of rhymes...

That song is a WINNER'S soundtrack...

When Styles P comes on, he just brings the song down, because he is NOT coming from the perspective of a BOSS...Like Rick Ross did...
