I hate when they change characters or don't bring back main characters. Also for people saying Cusack didn't fit this movie. HE WAS THE LEAD of the last movie and as someone mentioned he made a lot of "Dark" comedies. With that said, it seems they wrote his character out and the new character is his "Son" so at least they didn't find a new actor to play the character again.
