Only played a few levels last night but so far I'm missing the first one a bit....

The story is interesting but the levels felt a bit confined... I liked the roll dodge ability...

Also, the soundtrack is retarded, honestly possibly the coldest game OST in recent memory... Playing with the Golds :damn:

Loving it so far, my only complaint so far is the soundtrack doesn't knock as much as the first one. Early on, it's a little more subdued.

Music is still excellent though. :whoa:
First one is a masterpiece IMO. The fact that the first one doesn't have a 100 metacritic score is disturbing to me.

I'll accept a 98 because some didn't like the hospital scene :stopitslime:

A bit further in the game now and I'm starting to agree with the criticism of the levels being too big. Sometimes you go to a new section only to instantly step into a wide open area filled with five/six guys, some of them beyond your maximum point of view so you don't even know they rush you. Really annoying and kills the whole strategy part that comes into play in the corridor-to-corridor room clearing levels that are the heart of the game.

I never beat the first one, but luckily it's crossplay between PS3 and PS4 and I can upload my save and finish it out on PS4.

I really wish they'd patch in an option for a wider field of view. Too many times I've been blasted from someone ALL the way across the screen that I can't even swipe up to see. It's extremely frustrating.

Yeah, I still haven't finished the game because the further I got the more annoying some of that shyt gets.

This was disappointing in the end. Like others said, theres too many cheese sections where youre basically baiting people around a corner. Also them forcing you to do so many melee-only/limited ammo sections sucked when theres like 20 armed guards with perfect aim in wide open areas.

Soundtrack is piff and the story was kinda cool, but the gameplay and design was a step-down from the first IMO.

The baiting thing slows the game down too much. In the first one, you could run through most levels on instinct and go on killing sprees in natural way (:whoa:). I watched a couple levels with A+ and there's multiple times where the person is just shooting off the screen to kill people. Must have played the level 100s of times to have it completely memorized.

Completly agree with the criticism, the levels were too big for the gameplay style, I ended up playing this as a shoot em up. :shaq2:
