I'm not making light of how dire a situation this country is in, but on just a purely strategic level I have to give credit and marvel at how Trump and the GOP have literally reshaped reality and perception by manipulating the lexicon with a neverending barrage of lies.

This dude just said he's a person of color because he's white. And because of how warped everything is right now by them co-opting language with their "alternative facts", that can easily become a way to neutralize the term "person of color" or use it to their advantage.

It's no different than someone saying "I'm oppressed because I've been an oppressor."

Once words lose any meaningful definition you can now say anything moving forward, and decide what you mean or meant later on without any restrictions.

It's the closest thing to magic I've ever witnessed.

They're dangerously close to conquering science, logic, and reason and turning any attempt at a general discourse on any subject matter into utter confusion and chaos.

And no, I'm not being hyperbolic.

Exactly and precisely why I have given up any hope of Trump getting booted in 2020. He's a 2 term Prez. Once you have successfully distorted reality, truth, reasoning, you can't be stopped. Trump keeps line stepping and calling peoples bluff. Nothing happens so might as well go full retard if he can get away with it.
