It's easy being on the outside lobbing grenades but governing actually means doing something , making compromises and the type of stuff that doesn't lend itself to Obamacare is a disaster "socialism". The problem with Democrats is that even when it was passed they were still ambivalent at best about promoting the ACA. Remember that mid term when they ran away from it and other people who thought it wasn't going far enough. It is difficult for them to have a coherent message when they let the GOP control the messaging for so long. The fukkery if the Dems just start off from a single-payer stance on negotiations would be something to watch. They might however live with fixing it here and there because they want to be seen to be bipartisan which doesn't really matter in a polarized political climate.
