It's like folks don't know their defenses are being tested.

Four days ago NPR did a story.

U.S. Ethics Chief Was Behind Those Tweets About Trump, Records Show

Two days ago the stories about the impending congressional take over begin to leak.

Today, congress humbled themselves.

You have folks believing they won this battle, and they're going to win the war. This is not the time for The Young Wolf comparisons.

Read the same article.

Exactly

Thanks

When his very fukking existence as an American came into question...spurred on by the asshat current President-Elect

How about we start there and work our way up to 2017 :stopitslime:
oh, you are talking about imbeciles and dumbasses. OK. Well if you want to base everything around imbeciles and dumbasses, then lump yourself in when them then cool.

But most sane and normal ppl did give Obama the benefit of the doubt. which is why he not only got elected the first time but got re-elected. Which is why I'm addressing those same ppl to do the same for Trump. Just wait and see what's happening.

House passes rules aimed at preventing lawmaker protests
House Republicans adopted new rules on Tuesday to slap hefty fines on lawmakers who take photos or video on the chamber floor, a move meant to deter Democrats from staging a protest similar to last year’s anti-gun-violence sit-in.

The new rules enforce a previously existing prohibition on taking pictures or video on the House floor. Lawmakers of both parties routinely ignored the rules over the years and snapped photos at big events such as the State of the Union address and speeches from foreign leaders.

Members didn't try to hide the violations and frequently even posted the photos on social media. Yet they never faced consequences for breaking the photography rules.

The House voted along party lines, 234-193, to approve a rules package for the new Congress that includes the provisions. Only three Republicans joined every Democrat in voting against the package.

This seems like smoke and mirrors just like everything else Trump has done since he won the election

Make the people think that the Ethics watchdog group is going to get dismantled and then Trump tweets against it and they fall back knowing that that they had no intention of doing that shyt anyways due to the negative PR it would get in this current climate.

smoke and mirrors yes....but Trump didnt tweet that he was "against" the act....only the timing of it. TeamTrump is very clever and has been throughout the entire campaign. For someone to say Trump is "against it" is very misleading.

what he asked was do they HAVE to make this their number one act and priority

For now.

They're all still against it, including Trump, they just didn't want the bad PR by going after this first. They'll gut it later this year when it won't get as much attention.

this breh has it.....:salute:

to boot, Trump's tweet only gives him plausible deniability when they do gut it...which they will :beli:

brilliant
