I forgot if it was episode 2 or 3 but at one point there were almost back to back to back scenes of Otto showing no fatherly concern for Alicent, Alicent seeing Aegon crying but not consoling him, and Aemond in a brothel cuddling with a prostitute like a child would with its mother. Pretty consistent theme.
