I agree. Yep, I thought this was gonna be terrible like Coming to America 2. Def the cameos. And Lebron killed it (and I'm not even a stan). It just shouldn't have been called House Party. That's where they messed up at.

With a movie like this though it's made for the new generation it won't go over well if you don't give proper respect to the OG. It was ok but seemed like the pacing was super fast. In the OG"s you got the House Party during the last 15-20 minutes of the movie. This one had the house seeming like more of the focus instead of the story. Neither one of Kid and Play could have played the Dad or Aunt role instead of Bill Bellamy and the other actress. But I was somewhat entertained so I can't complain to much as I wasn't expecting anything groundbreaking anyway.
