Political ramifications aside, it is unreasonable, and indefensible to pay people minimum wage of even $15. You can't really even live a very modest, dignified, life in San Diego on that. It's poverty level.

$15 in many parts of this country is still not even a baseline living wage. It's especially galling when the number of people in poverty or straddling the poverty line increases every year. over half the country lives one paycheck away from total destitution.You are an amoral person. They should really have some algorithm that determines a livable wage county by county or city by city since cost of living varies so much
Couple it with affordable housing changes, structural shifting of the debt loads we put on the average American, work requiring massive transit costs etc etc etc etc.
There's just so much that this system isn't possibly equipped to handle and yet we're here and have to handle it.
Its not immoral to lock poor people out of the ability to earn ANY wage
