Political ramifications aside, it is unreasonable, and indefensible to pay people minimum wage of even $15. You can't really even live a very modest, dignified, life in San Diego on that. It's poverty level.

Not every single imaginable job demands $15 an hour.

They should really have some algorithm that determines a livable wage county by county or city by city since cost of living varies so much

I'm wondering how we even settled on $15. Dudes are just slinging numbers that divide nicely with base-10 number systems.

We went magically from discussing $10.10 to $15 out of nowhere ... IDK even know how it happened.

Dudes are just tossing out numbers without realizing how on the edge their own jobs are.
