Mark Herman of Harris County Constable Precinct 4 said on Facebook that Paul Nixon committed aggravated perjury when he went through the divorce process without his wife’s consent.

According to Herman, authorities received a call on May 14 from a woman who said her husband had allegedly completed the divorce and that a court already filed the final decree.

Through the investigation, authorities found that Nixon forged documents and submitted false information to the court. He also allegedly submitted a waiver of service with a forged signature from a notary.

Herman said Nixon committed aggravated perjury when he testified during the final hearing on the validity of the documents and information.

Nixon is currently being sought by authorities.

An American man is presently on the run after he allegedly forged his estranged wife’s signature on their divorce papers.

According to the New York Daily News, Paul Nixon – who hails from Texas – ‘fraudulently’ divorced his wife without her knowledge.

Mr. Nixon is now being sought after for submitting false documents and false information to a Houston court.

The suspect is also wanted for committing perjury after he reportedly testified during the divorce proceedings.

“We have teams out looking for him right now, I can tell you. And we have an idea where he’s at,” Harris County Constable Mark Herman told American news outlets.

“So hopefully, he’ll turn himself in. If not, we’ll catch him. Just a matter of time.”

Once it was finalized he should've fled the country. If he didn't

Yeah but seems to me like most black americans dont think that way. Black Caribbeans or Africans, sure because this aint home in the first place. It's a type of mental block in a way. Some people dont perceive being able to live life outside of the U.S. as possible
