And hoes love that u from cali :shaq:

Third Ward is cool as hell. Centrally located.

OP, real talk take a look at EaDo. It's next door to downtown, Third Ward, and Midtown. It has a lot of projects popping up. You have the soccer stadium, which hosts a lot of events. Matter fact, Rockets and Astros stadium are nearby. The light rail is right there too.

I like Montrose. I don't really hate gay people so I don't really care about the gay presence.

It has a lot of cool restaurants, bars, and other attractions. good looking architecture. not too expensive like river oaks or other areas. low crime rate. right in the center of everything.

Being from the Southeast/MidAtlantic, and I have become surprisingly fond of Houston. I think I love her... :mjcry:.

I do miss living in DC/Baltimore area .. :banderas:

Still love my home state NC, especially seeing how Raleigh/Charlotte/Greensboro are shaping up.......:blessed:

I can't choose :damn:, but for now I"m going stick to this Texas/Gulf Coast life.

bro how did you save that much ? :ohhh:

i need to get on your level :wow: but on the real tho give a nikka some tips to save up :feedme:
well ive been working since i was 16 so thats how ive been able to save that much over 4 years

and i also had some side hustles...

anyway the way i did it, i save a 4th of all my earnings, all my checks, and all profits i ever made

save 25/100

but thats because im in my parents house so i had the luxury of not having to pay bills therefore save more and save faster

im moving out on my own finally this year

All them zombies tho. They got all these nice developments popping up, but the homeless and junkies are everywhere.

:mjcry:when i visit ATL yu gotta show me where they be so i can make a comparison

if you're basing the move solely off women and you want black women, then i'd say go with atlanta

we got some incredible women down here too though :wow:

so you have a job offer in both houston and atlanta?

im going to compare the best area in Houston to the best area in ATL and make my choice from there:patrice:

Young Professionals go to the MidTown area (Washington Ave, etc)

If you were over 25 I would stay in the Upper Kirby area (it's not to far from the Galleria but I probably wouldn't stay in the Galleria)

There are three layers to Third Ward (from my 4 years living there). Depending on who you talk to inside and outside of Third Ward, you will get different perspectives. My feelings is there is the northern section, which looks like New Orleans after Katrina in some sections, with vacant lots and shotgun homes. Then you have the area closest to TSU and UH, which is mixed income, but closer to middle class. Then you have the 3rd section which is next to the bayou, where you have literal mansions next to it. That doesn't include all the new townhomes, and brand new single family homes being built, especially closer to Midtown and in the last 2 sections.

On an activity level, there are places to go inside hird Ward, and outside in neighboring downtown, Midtown, Museum District.

It has some "rough elements", and I lived in between the schools, which is decent, but tell the gentrifiers making their way here that it's "fukked up" :francis:.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I was checking out UH and the area around it was real fukked up.

But you're right, they are gentrifying the hell outta that area.
