Take the best 32 teams create their own league similiar to the nfl play 14 game schedule and playoffs and create divisions

The best 32 changes every year with recruiting. It's going to still be based on the big conferences.

You start talking about picking, that's when you mess up. People's perception can be skewed. Just because a University is bigger or has more influence doesn't mean they are better at a sport than another smaller one. That's the issue usually when people talk about picking the best teams.

I keep hearing people talking about buyout money.

I don't think people realize the SEC office gets a cut of the tv money just like they are the 15th team. It's been like that since the 90s. I don't know if anybody knows how much money they have, but I bet they can cover any buyouts for teams they want to go after now.

Why? You don't think they belong in the same conference with Pitt and Virginia Tech? Could also bring back the WVU-Miami games which use to be good games. For basketball, it is perfect for them. Much better than the SEC.

Because it's a much harder conference and path to the playoff. As an OU fan are you as confident as winning the SEC and getting into the playoff as many times as OU has won the Big 12?

OU will be fine.

They don't have in-state talent like Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, Florida etc. Honestly the SEC should be careful with Oklahoma because they can gain a foothold in states they don't always recruit from.

OU has been heavy in the West and in Texas. They'll always figure out how to be solid on offense but now they can get some southern brehs for defense.

Texas has the tools but they have always had too many cooks in the kitchen.
